Accredited Training
With people using the term 'coaching' so
liberally nowadays, even becoming self-proclaimed coaches, it is
critical to ensure that any coach you retain be
not only properly trained and experienced, but also certified by an accredited
organisation.
There is a massive difference in the quality and quantity of training coaches receive (as much as a factor of 10). Better
training and greater experience do translate into far better results
for you. If you do your research and choose the right coach, you'll get
a lot more value from your coaching experience.
Icompleted my professional training with The Coaches Training Institute (CTI),
the first organisation to receive accreditation from the ICF for its
training and certification programs. For the past 14 years,
CTI has trained thousands of life coaches worldwide using its powerful,
co-active coaching model and is
internationally recognised as the frontrunner in the industry.
I am also certified by the The International Coaching Federation (ICF) , the only recognised body that can deem a training course valid or not. As the
world's first and largest professional association of personal and
business coaches, the ICF seeks to preserve the integrity of coaching,
internationally; it counts nearly 9000 members across 34
countries.
